St. Lucia's leatherback turtles are threatened with extinction. Their shells are used to make jewelry. Their eggs are stolen, considered a delicacy and folk remedy. A project supported by the German development aid agency GIZ aims to help St. Lucia save these marine animals. It's part of the International Climate Initiative's Blue Solutions Network.
